Barcade Case Study

High Score Barcade is a concept website created for a 21+ retro arcade bar that combines classic games, craft cocktails, and a lively nightlife atmosphere. Built in Wix Studio, the site was designed to capture the energy and nostalgia of an ’80s–’90s arcade while remaining modern, clear, and easy to navigate across every device. The goal was to create an immersive experience that quickly communicates what the venue offers and encourages visitors to explore the games, view the drink menu, and plan their visit.

The final design uses neon colors, dark backgrounds, bold typography, cinematic imagery, and playful messaging to establish a strong retro-modern identity. A simple mobile-first structure guides visitors through the game lineup, signature drinks, location, hours, and parking without overwhelming them. The result demonstrates how strong visual direction and thoughtful UX can turn a high-energy entertainment concept into a clear, memorable digital experience.
